Hello everyone,
I am currently assembling an IKEA Brimnes dresser and have noticed that the included instructions don’t always explain every detail—especially regarding the more complex drawer mechanisms. So I have a question for the community:
Is there an extended guide or additional assembly tips available for IKEA Brimnes furniture, specifically the dresser series? I’m looking for something that goes beyond the usual brief IKEA instruction sheets and possibly offers more advice on proper assembly or handling the fittings.
I’ve found little information online, so maybe someone here already has experience or a reliably more detailed assembly manual.
Thanks in advance!

The rear guides must be properly seated in the designated groove profiles before the drawer is inserted.Thank you for the clear advice!
I hadn’t fully understood the groove profiles before. Now I know I need to be careful not only to screw the guides firmly in place but also to align them correctly.

If a specific problem still occurs, some user communities or even the IKEA customer service offer targeted support.Has anyone here had experience with IKEA customer service regarding assembly issues? Are they helpful or do they tend to get overwhelmed quickly?
But first, I’ll try your tips and will share my experiences afterwards.
