Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if there is a simple way to equip IKEA Besta doors with additional soft-close dampers.
My goal is to make the doors close more quietly and gently, since the original dampers feel a bit weak to me and are supposed to prevent slamming. I have already seen various solutions online, but most of them seem somewhat complicated or require special tools or drilling, which I want to avoid.
So, is there an easy solution, preferably without tools and drilling, that reliably achieves this effect? Maybe also some experience from people who have already done this?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Regarding retrofitting Besta doors, there are two technically viable options that I consider practical:
1. Replacing the existing hinges with soft-close versions from IKEA. The original parts fit precisely, are easy to install, and ensure consistently smooth closing.
2. Installing small dampers on the frame or door casing, which are secured with screws. Based on my experience, adhesive solutions tend to lose their grip over time.
If using tools is to be completely avoided, adhesive dampers are the only option, although their effectiveness is usually limited. For a comfortable and lasting solution, a small screwdriver is essential.
Minor installation tasks should not be a major issue with proper tools and instructions.
