Hello, I would like to shorten 2 lacquered shelves with concealed mounting. They are available with a depth of 26cm (10 inches), but that is too deep for my kitchen. I was thinking of cutting off 6cm (2.5 inches). The brackets as well. Has anyone done this before? Will there still be enough material left in the hollow board to fit onto the brackets?
