Good day,
my basement storage room (new construction) is too warm and now even warmer because the electrical equipment and a storage unit for the photovoltaic system were installed in the adjacent boiler room.
My question: Is it possible to install an air source heat pump in the very warm boiler room that would absorb the warm air and supply cold air?

And where would the heat pump release the heat? There are domestic hot water heat pumps that extract energy from the air in the utility room. However, you won’t achieve significant cooling effects with them.

Of course, that’s possible. It’s also called air conditioning.
