ᐅ Is a fire-rated door required for a basement room with a gas heating system?

Hello, in our house, the "heating room" will be worked on soon. Can anyone tell me if a fire protection door is required for a basement room with a gas heating system? Are there any regulations regarding this, or can I use any standard door? I hope you can help me. Regards, Dieter

Call your local chimney inspector or sweep... They need to approve the system. We have our heating unit (gas boiler) on the ground floor of a timber frame house and do not have a fire protection door.
