ᐅ IP video door intercom system – DOORBIRD D2101V – is it worthwhile?

The planning of the new build continues, now focusing on the video intercom system:

1. What do you think about an IP video intercom system?

2. What do you think about the Doorbird D2101V, and are there any experiences with this system?

3. What are the differences compared to other intercom systems?

Could you briefly explain how you intend to use this system? I believe different systems are recommended depending on the application.

Mobile phone, tablet, fingerprint scan, RFID/NFC, KNX, third-party systems, telephone system, etc.

I would like:

- To be able to operate the system via my smartphone
- Fingerprint scan at the door or integrated into the system
- Good value for money
- The system to be wired and not connected to other systems

Does no one here know Doorbird??
