Maxwell8Our bathroom interior walls (where no tiles are installed) are standardly finished with a textured lime-cement plaster. We checked it out today and it looks rough/uneven.
For just over €20 (euros) extra per square meter (approximately $22 per square yard), we can have the walls smoothed to a Q2 finish.
Are there any downsides to this (for example, regarding water vapor or similar coming from the shower), or is it purely an aesthetic investment?
We are still hesitating with the decision, as it looks more visually appealing if everything is smoothed rather than textured.
