ᐅ Installing a Miele dishwasher into an Ikea Metod kitchen system

Sorry to bring up this topic again, but I’m really stressed. Unfortunately, our dishwasher broke down even before the new kitchen was installed. I’ve been running back and forth between stores and IKEA for days now and I’m almost losing hope.

We want to install a fully integrated Miele or Siemens dishwasher in our new IKEA kitchen (Metod). My neighbor has the IKEA Välgjord dishwasher and is very unhappy with it. I definitely don’t want that one. So it has to be Miele or Siemens.

I’ve understood that the dishwasher has to be an XXL model. But the Siemens one is already 86.5 cm (34 inches) high, and the Miele is 84.5 cm (33 inches) high. The IKEA kitchen, including the plinth, is 88 cm (35 inches). That doesn’t seem to fit, or am I misunderstanding something?

I urgently need advice on which Siemens or Miele dishwasher fits here and which hinge or sliding rail to use. I have to buy the dishwasher now, but the IKEA kitchen will be installed later. If I buy the wrong one now, I’ll run into trouble later.

It would be great if you could help me, maybe even with model numbers if someone has already installed one.
