ᐅ Installing a Basement Door – Has Anyone Done This Before and Can Share Some Tips?

I am currently installing a door in the basement.
The opening in the masonry is extremely tight. I already had to shorten the frame by a few millimeters at the bottom. Now the frame is in place, but there is only 3mm (1/8 inch) of space left between it and the wall. How am I supposed to apply foam in such a small gap? The nozzle doesn’t fit in there.
Does anyone have any tips?
