ronnystritzke2 Nov 2011 02:55Hello, I bought a plot of land with an old house on it, one story with an attic, gable roof, footprint 4.5 x 8.5 m (15 x 28 ft), built around 1950, and a barn. A hoarder lived there, so everything imaginable was collected inside.
What should I consider if I want to demolish the house, completely gut it first, and then work from top to bottom...
Best regards, ronnystritzke

what you definitely need is a demolition permit. You cannot simply demolish something without one.
Check with your local building authority about the requirements.
