Hello everyone,
now it has happened to me too... problems with the assembly 😳 🙁 :
I bought the wire rack for my Udden worktable. However, I am completely stuck with the assembly. Every time I tighten the screws at the top, both brackets (left and right) bend inward. One bracket is then also fixed at the bottom, so the whole thing is "only" under tension there but remains reasonably straight. On the other side, the bracket can only be screwed in at the top and bends quite a bit inward.
Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have experience with the wire rack? Thanks!!!

If you screw on the front part and then hold it at the bottom and bend it slightly forward, it should work, shouldn’t it?
I think the brackets aren’t welded completely straight during production, so it will probably lean inward a bit. It’s not ideal, but with a gentle pull outward, it should be fine. Just be careful. Otherwise, the weld spots might break, and then it will snap off.
When bending: think of an arc (with a curve). If you notice it getting harder, give a little, then pull again. Like a seesaw. But always gently. This way, you can stretch a weld seam without significantly damaging it.
Let me know how it goes.

Maverick185412 Jan 2010 14:58Of course, it is a product defect if it cannot be assembled. But don't forget the receipt; otherwise, there is no warranty. Without it, no refund or exchange is possible.
