ᐅ IKEA PAX Sliding Door Damper Issue

I bought the Pax wardrobe with sliding doors, as well as the soft-close dampers. On the right side, the dampers engage properly. But on the left side, where the door is further away, they don't engage at all. What am I doing wrong? I installed everything according to the plan. Thank you very much for your help.

What exactly is meant by "dämpfer"?
Are you referring to the cladding on the left and right sides?

I haven’t installed any of those dampers.

My guess:
The door probably just needs a bit of adjustment.
This is mentioned on the last page of my door instructions.
