Hello!
I have assembled the Pax wardrobe and now I want to insert the shelves.
There are these "packing pouches" that are usually placed at the very top at Ikea. Can someone tell me how many holes need to be left empty?
The same question applies to the distance between the wardrobe rods and the shelf above them – any recommendations?
Regards, Jan

which "packing bags"? They probably have a specific name.
Regarding the distance between the rod and the floor, I would recommend trying it out. Depending on the hangers, personal habits, and clothing sizes, a smaller or larger distance may be more practical.

Do you mean something like SKUBB or GARNITYR?
Check what you want; the measurements are given for all, including the height. Take a tape measure and measure. For the clothes rail, I would leave about a hand’s width of space from the top shelf so you can easily hang and remove the hangers. Or take your longest garment on a hanger and hold it so it doesn’t drag on the floor; then install the rail at that height.
If in doubt, use a measuring tape to measure everything and do a bit of calculating.
Best regards

IKEA-Experte19 Feb 2014 00:09That's exactly what I meant. If you quickly pull the hanger up out of the closet, you need a bit more space above the rod; if you do it normally, then a little less.
