ᐅ IKEA Pax: can be elevated to allow a robotic vacuum cleaner to fit underneath

Hello,

I have planned a niche in the hallway (the house is currently under construction) where I want to place a Pax wardrobe as a cloakroom cabinet.
I would like to raise the Pax a bit (overall by about 14cm (5.5 inches)) so that a robot vacuum cleaner with its charging station can fit underneath.
Can I simply add feet under it, or would it be advisable to also support the side panels?

Thanks,

You can stabilize the cut-to-size baseboard Pax wardrobe by attaching two Ivar cross braces to the Pax back panel. If the wardrobe stands alone: screwing it to the wall is a good idea.
That is not enough. The particleboard panels bend downward, which causes the connecting fittings to become slightly loosened every time the doors are opened and the resulting vibrations occur. The lower crossbar is one of the most important elements in the Pax.
