Hello,

we purchased a Metod base cabinet for our built-in Miele oven.
Below the oven, we installed a Maximera drawer.
After everything was finished, we noticed that when opening the oven, the door comes into contact with the drawer.
It gets worse when closing, as the oven door is pushed upwards.
If I open the drawer slightly, it works without any problems.
We installed the drawer and runner correctly. I also adjusted the drawer sides to the lowest setting.
Maybe someone can give me a tip. If necessary, I will have to plane the drawer.
Although I am not sure if the drawer will still look good afterward.

Thank you very much

Hello, does the drawer front align flush with the bottom of the cabinet?

No, not exactly. There is about a 1/2 mm (0.02 inches) difference. It is not a straight edge.

To avoid misunderstandings, the drawer front almost completely covers the bottom panel of the cabinet, leaving only about 0.5 mm (0.02 inches) visible.

If that is the case, could you please upload pictures showing the overall view, details, closed, and open...

The front edge is almost flush, it just protrudes downward by about 1-2mm (0.04-0.08 inches). That wouldn't bother me that much. What really bothers me is the oven door. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow, but I have to go to work now.
