I am a proud new owner of the Lindmon jalousie (140/255) and have finally mounted it on the wall – but I’m completely baffled about how to lower the slats.
I already feel a bit foolish – but is there some kind of lock or catch that I haven’t removed yet?!?
Just pulling the cables back and forth doesn’t do anything at all.
It’s probably really simple – but I just can’t figure it out.

If you look at the slot on top where the cord goes in, you can see a spool with many teeth. It looks like a gear in width. That is the brake mechanism, at least that's how I remember it. If it gets completely stuck, you can use a screwdriver to push the gear upwards. That will release it again.
