ᐅ Ikea IVAR Corner Unit: How Do I Install the Corner Unit?

Hello,

after assembling a longer Ivar shelf, I now want to put one together with a corner unit.

Unfortunately, I don’t understand how to properly attach the corner piece. There were two plastic tubes, each with three dowels. I can attach the dowels to the side panels as usual, but I’m unable to simply snap them in like with the straight shelves.

What am I doing wrong?

The question remains: Even with the corner post, I can’t understand how to attach the corner piece because clipping it in somehow doesn’t work ;-(
