Hello,
we are having issues with installing or fitting the drawers into the Besta cabinet.
It concerns two 60cm (24 inches) wide units placed side by side. Another unit is positioned on top of the right one. Drawers are supposed to go into both of these lower units. The two right drawers are working quite well, but the smaller upper drawer on the left side is really problematic. It is crooked, misaligned, and sits too low, hitting the large drawer door below it.
Here are some pictures, maybe they can help to see if something is installed or screwed incorrectly:
Planned cabinet:
Left stubborn drawer, left rail:
Left stubborn drawer, right rail:
Right functioning drawer, left rail:
Right functioning drawer, right rail:
Cabinet left drawer, left side:
Cabinet left drawer, right side:
If you want me to provide a photo with the drawer fully inserted, I can only do that tomorrow morning.
I thought I had read something about this issue here before, but I can’t find it anymore. Maybe I just dreamed it.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Juliette W20 Aug 2015 12:50Thank you for the tips. We will take another look at it this evening. But somehow the whole thing is poorly constructed...
My husband partially re-screwed the drawer runners to make them fit and swore about the cardboard parts. But even the top doors are far from optimal. Today, I would have Ikea assemble it, so they have to deal with the issues and fix them if necessary. With our self-assembled Metod office wall, there were no unsolvable problems, only with Besta.
