Hello,

I would like to replace this copper pipe, but I’m not sure how to disconnect it. The top part can be easily pulled off, and it can be turned, but it won't come loose. It rotates both the copper and the yellow part as if they were a single unit. I have no idea how they are connected or what tool I need to remove it. It’s a very unusual fitting...

Best regards, Jan

Very strange connection...

You should stay away from that. The picture looks to me like a transition from copper to plastic piping, probably for a heating system supply or return line. The copper was soldered, and on the other side, the plastic pipe was pressed. You will hardly be able to disconnect it without causing damage.

Hello

The one on the right is a copper pipe permanently connected with a pressing tool.
On the left is a composite pipe Viega raxofix, also a non-detachable connection.
