Hello everyone,
I am currently planning our bathroom renovation and have received several quotes in this context.
Everything is basically settled, but I still need some advice regarding the shower column, so I’m reaching out to you.
Here’s the situation: Initially, I was offered the HSK RS 500 AquaSwitch shower system with a 30x30cm (12x12 inches) overhead shower. This system was recommended by my plumber and fits well visually into the new bathroom – so my decision was basically made: "I’ll go with it."
It is important to me that my new shower provides a rainfall effect. Therefore, I looked into the HSK system a bit more and found out that it does not draw in any air. From my understanding, without air intake, you don’t actually get a true rainfall effect.
To clarify this, I contacted my plumbing specialist. He then also offered me the Hansgrohe Raindance Select E 360 1jet Showerpipe. However, he said that the “rainfall effect is the same as with the HSK.”
My question to the experts is: Is the rainfall effect really the same or comparable, even though the HSK system does not include air injection?
From a practical perspective, the height-adjustable handheld shower speaks in favor of the HSK system.
Thank you very much for your support and feedback!
Best regards,
