I want to uninstall my ceiling light TÄRBY...
The thing won’t come down from the ceiling. On the ceiling-mounted part, there are arrows indicating that the element can be rotated. I have turned it in all directions until it stops, but the result is that the lamp no longer works...
Does anyone here have experience with this or happen to have instructions for it?
I installed it a few years ago and simply can’t remember how to do it anymore 🙁

I have a faint memory, but I’m not sure.
Is it that ceiling lamp with the wooden handle? 😕
There should be a screw on each side. You would need to unscrew those, then a rod should appear that you can pull out; it holds the lampshade. The light fixture itself is usually screwed to the ceiling. Turn off the power first, then remove the fixture.
