Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Ikea Metod kitchen side panels, which have slightly warped during assembly or transport. The panels are made of pressed wood-based material and are relatively thin, making them unfortunately prone to such deformations. My specific question is: How can I repair these slightly warped side panels as easily and gently as possible so that they become straight and stable again? Are there any tricks or proven methods to help bend them back without causing further damage to the material? I would appreciate any tips, including recommendations for tools or suggested procedures.

Thank you for the many helpful tips. In summary, I will probably work with gentle heating followed by securing the walls on a flat surface to straighten them again. Therefore, controlled heating (not too hot) and slow, even bending back with subsequent clamping are important.
One more question regarding the application: Is there a recommended type of base to use as a flat surface? For example, would wood, metal, or something softer be better? I want to avoid damaging the side wall in another spot or causing new dents as much as possible.
