I have installed Ikea PAX sliding doors at home and would like to approach the cleaning and maintenance of these doors as professionally as possible. My question is: How do I properly clean and maintain Ikea PAX sliding doors without damaging the surfaces or the mechanical track system?
I am particularly interested in:
- Which cleaning products are suitable or should definitely be avoided?
- How should I clean the aluminum tracks?
- Are there specific care products for the door fronts (e.g., glass, melamine, or lacquer) and the running tracks that ensure long-lasting durability?
- Are the rollers or running tracks included in the maintenance, and if so, how?

JAMESONB4127 Dec 2020 14:52Disassembly is unnecessary if you regularly remove dust and hair. Use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow nozzle followed by a damp cloth. This prevents larger buildups and protects the mechanism. A more thorough cleaning every six months should be sufficient.
