We are planning to organize our house construction this autumn so that we might be able to start building in about a year.

How should one approach a house construction project? Should we look for building land ourselves or go through an architect? Architects often sell plots they have already acquired and then offer to handle the design and project management as well.

How would you approach this?

Clearly, the first step is to look for a plot of land, unless you want to buy a condominium or build a terraced house.

Hello,

we arranged everything through a single provider, which saved us a lot of effort searching around. Unfortunately, it always comes down to costs as well.

Procedure for Building a House

Hello,

We purchased our building plot directly through the bank here in the municipality. They also arranged our financing right away. Just ask your local bank—they will surely be able to assist you well.

Best regards
