Hi,
Since the roof tiles are not yet installed, I had a clear view of the underlay membrane yesterday.
I noticed some holes there.
They likely come from nails... the size matches approximately.
As far as I understand, the underlay membrane is supposed to provide additional waterproofing for the roof and prevent water from entering the living space.
How are these spots sealed afterwards? Are additional patches applied there?
Is there anything else to consider when sealing these defects later on?
Thanks
Best regards

The fewer holes, the better (obviously). Whether the roofing underlay is really necessary depends on the installed roofing material and the roof pitch; the manufacturer provides this information.
If I were you, I would take photos and also discuss with the site supervisor from the company whether this is acceptable or if it will be corrected.
