During my research, I came across heat recovery systems for shower water (e.g., integrated into drain channels). Is anyone using these here? It might be that the initial purchase and installation costs put their cost-effectiveness into question...

Noise: Do you mean by "noise" the gap under the door, and by "bypass opening" the vents above the windows (or elsewhere) leading outside for the decentralized ventilation system? I’m asking just to be sure, as a "beginner"...

Any opening, whether at the top, bottom, or decentral, should therefore be planned room-by-room with supply and exhaust air. It will preserve the overall comfort and peace in the house.
