Hello,

some greasy stains (I think cream or something similar) have somehow appeared on the new couch. It is dark and made of woven fabric. Do you have any ideas on how to remove them? Is it possible to remove cream stains, etc.?

Grease with degreaser... for example, soap on a dish towel, nice and wet with foam, then dab, dab, dab. Rubbing is not recommended.

What type of soap?

First of all, liquid hand soap... There is no risk of anything bleaching or similar.

Denatured alcohol (pure alcohol)!

Well, I wouldn’t start off with the heavy stuff right away, but rather increase the intensity gradually. The material could be natural fiber, which doesn’t tolerate fat-dissolving substances any better than the grease stain does. I think the advice to use mild hand soap or even shampoo is good. If that doesn’t work, then move on to dishwashing liquid. Use rubbing alcohol definitely as a last resort.
