Does anyone have experience with garages that have doors at both the front and rear?
Is this an upgrade that a standard precast concrete garage manufacturer would provide, and what would the cost be?
The background is that I have a larger trailer (6.20m long (20.3 ft)) that I want to park behind the garage. We were planning to build a prefabricated garage with an attached carport so that the trailer can be driven through the carport. The problem is that there is just not quite enough space to maneuver a vehicle of this size into the carport (meaning the neighbor canât build a fence), and while it would be possible to get out the back past the house, itâs not really an ideal solution.
The simplest solution would, of course, be to build a carport and just drive straight through; that would also be the cheapest option. But actually, I wanted a proper garage where snow doesnât come in and rain doesnât blow sideways, and where no martens could damage the car. Thatâs why I thought about having a rear door installed as well; since it would be used less often, it could be manual.

But now that Iâm writing this... one option would of course be to place the trailer on the north side behind the house. There would be enough space there. Just a bit inconvenient to move it around...

WilderSueden26 Jan 2021 23:08The usual total is 15 meters (50 feet), 9 meters (30 feet) per boundary as far as I know. In this version, it fits exactly (trailer without a fixed roof). But squeezing it into the corner is currently uncertain, so itâs possible that we will have to manage with significantly less.
