We want to replace our swing gate with a sectional door with a motorized drive.

I wanted to ask which garage doors you would recommend?

I have found Hörmann and Novoferm.
Would you recommend any other brands?

How can I integrate the garage door into Home Assistant?
How can I then read the status in Home Assistant? And control it to open and close?

I solved this with a Shelly device and two limit switches. It’s possible that new gates are already smart.
