Hello everyone,
We currently have a "Grohe Lineare" basin mixer in our apartment that we really like. We also have the matching built-in shower and bathtub mixers.
For our house, we only need a basin mixer for the guest bathroom (so it doesn’t have to match the shower or other mixers).
Now I’m wondering if it’s worth buying the Grohe Lineare again in terms of quality (it costs about 120 euros (130 USD) from the cheapest online supplier). Alternatively, the Kludi Zenta (65 euros (70 USD)) could be an option.
Are the mixers comparable in terms of construction, materials used, and so on? Are you mostly paying for the design? Or the brand name? Although there are also cheaper Grohe mixers available (e.g., Grohe Start Edge for about 40 euros (45 USD)).
Honestly, I don’t see the point in paying almost twice as much just because the mixer looks different. However, if there are quality differences, then the higher price might be justified.
Thanks very much and best regards

Hello,
Just give Grohe a call and ask them to explain... they will definitely have a technical hotline.
Best regards,
Andreas

All right....
But what exactly is the difference, for example, between the
Grohe Start Edge at about 40,-
and the
Grohe Lineare at 120,- ???
