Hello dear forum members,
Our planning is now getting serious, and we need to make final decisions for the building permit / planning permission, structural engineering, etc.
We have found a great designer with whom we want to build the house, provided we can afford it... Unfortunately, my wife and I are somewhat of a disaster when it comes to making decisions 🙄
We plan to rent out the basement apartment at first, but maybe (as one tends to imagine) to think about it as a multigenerational house in the future and thus design the house quite flexibly. The development plan leaves no leeway regarding the knee wall height.
We are uncertain about the kitchen layout and whether we should move the pantry closer to where the stove is currently planned, to make the kitchen area wider.
Are there any suggestions or comments on the planning?
Thank you for your time!
Best regards

The costs for the windows are worth it to us for a nice view of the greenery and very bright rooms. The ideas for flexible use of the basement space, remodeling the pantry, and the room layout in the granny flat are already on the list...

You can be proud of that. ypg always finds something otherwise.;) Oh, is that so? 😱
Most of the time, they are just small ideas 🙂
Greetings from Yvonne, who has already found a few minor design errors in her shell construction 🙁

Best regards, Bauexpertehello,
small mistakes are what make a house endearing, as long as they really are small
