We moved into a new Weber house about a year ago, and everything has been fine so far. Since our earthworks contractor didn’t have much time last year, the start of the exterior landscaping was somewhat delayed. Because the soil in our region has a high clay content, the following problem has unfortunately arisen. Due to the missing gravel layer around the house, the facade has become covered with a reddish, clay-like dirt. We have already cleaned the affected area several times using a pressure washer with a facade cleaner, but a red tint is still visible.
Does anyone in the forum have tips on how to prevent clay buildup, or possibly a recommendation for a white paint that could be used to repaint certain areas? Our render is a Sto textured render; if exact details are important, I can look them up.
