We are currently planning our photovoltaic system.
Basic data:
Roof orientation: 5° deviation from south-facing toward east
Roof pitch: 38°
No shading.
Initially, no battery storage.
Our plan is based on 17 Protect SW 250 poly modules. Has anyone here had experience with the Protect modules from Solarworld?
Of course, the promised lower performance degradation compared to the "standard" SW 250 poly modules cannot (yet) be assessed, but what about the higher mechanical durability due to the use of tempered glass on both sides?
Best regards,
Dirk

Elektrofuzzi21 May 2014 20:31Hello, I have received the mentioned modules, but unfortunately I can’t say anything yet because the inverter is still missing.
I’m curious about how much you have to pay per kWh/kWp.
I can’t shake the feeling that I paid too much...
Best regards
