Hello everyone,

We are currently in the process of having the heating system installed and received a recommendation from our heating engineer for the GiegaStar Compact -200S. Unfortunately, I can find very little to no information online about the company or this model. Has anyone had any experience with the manufacturer or the model?

Here is some information about our house: approximately 70-55 standard, gas boiler as described above, with solar thermal system (which is now mandatory), 36.5 0.09 masonry, triple-glazed windows with a U-value of 0.6, about 157m² (1690 sq ft) on a slab foundation, central ventilation system with heat recovery.
Ground floor (GF): thermal insulation WLG 035, 80mm (3 inches) thick, staple plates 20mm (0.8 inches) thick, liquid screed 55-60mm (2.2-2.4 inches) thick.
Upper floor (UF): rigid foam 60mm (2.4 inches) thick, staple plates 20mm (0.8 inches) thick, liquid screed 55-60mm (2.2-2.4 inches) thick.
Solar flat-plate collector 2.54m² (27.3 sq ft), underfloor heating system by Kermi or equivalent, 10cm (4 inches) pipe spacing, underfloor heating manifold on the ground floor, underfloor heating manifold with cabinet on the upper floor.

Everything is tried-and-true, old-school. We wanted a solid house without unnecessary costs or experiments for four people.

Best regards,
Lukas
