We have decided to build our dream home in Hildesheim and the surrounding area. Like many others, we want it to be affordable and of good quality.
We would like a solid, masonry house with about 120sqm (1,292 sq ft). But there are so many providers on the market that it’s hard to know where to start.
I have already done some research and ruled out a few options.
Could you possibly give me some tips on who you would recommend or maybe advise against?

searching within a radius of about 30-40 km (20-25 miles) is certainly advisable. Ask for a reference list to be sent to you or download it from the company’s website. Visit reference projects and talk to the residents. Googling the company name is also a good option.
In any case, spend money on proper construction supervision by an engineer. It’s better to do this beforehand than to have disputes later.
