we are currently planning to build a KfW70 house, and our general contractor suggested windows with basicair plus. To me, this basically means having a well-insulated house but creating ventilation openings in the windows. Does this system even make sense? Would a central ventilation system with heat recovery be worth the extra cost? Or is regular shock ventilation (airing out) in the morning and evening sufficient for a KfW70 house? I couldn’t find a clear answer on this in various forums. I would appreciate it if someone could share their opinion.
Best regards, tuvok74656
