Has anyone installed something like this? The advantage is that it can be wrapped up, so presumably it can also withstand winter conditions.

Does anyone have price information to help me get an idea before I make an inquiry? Manufacturer names are also welcome.

White sun sail stretched over a terrace in front of a modern house with glass railing

Above all, what experiences have you had with it? Our problem is extreme wind, so a fixed sun sail is not an option as it likely wouldn’t hold up against the wind.
A permanent terrace roof will have to wait because it goes around a corner and will be expensive.

The house has been sold again. We had the sun sail for about five years. Except for one issue, I was very satisfied (excellent sun protection without heat buildup, the material held up well, installation was easy twice a year...). Quite a lot of dirt built up on the surface. It wasn’t easy to remove – in the end, I used algae remover and a pressure washer. The material tolerated this well (re-impregnated every 2 years) without losing its waterproofing.
I’ll look for a photo tomorrow.
