Hello everyone,

I am considering purchasing a whirlpool bathtub. Regarding the electrical installations that need to be retrofitted, I have come up with the following idea.

The house was built in 2005 and has underfloor heating (screed). I would like to remove the tiles, including the adhesive, and then chase the electrical conduit into the screed. After that, I plan to refill it with suitable cement.

Then, I would like to reinstall the tiles (natural stone slate) as before.

Is it possible to do it this way, or could it cause any problems?

Best regards,

Since you’re asking if it’s possible, it seems you don’t have much knowledge about this topic... my advice: either hire a professional or forget it... you can cause a lot of damage, which could mean needing a new bathroom floor afterward...

Thank you for your reply. However, I would still like to know whether it is possible or not.

With expertise, yes; without it, no...
