ᐅ Electrical - Recessed Spotlights in Solid Wood Ceiling

Does anyone have experience with recessed spotlights installed in a solid wood ceiling without a cavity (directly in the roof slope)?
Which devices have you used, or which are approved for this application?
Can you recommend any manufacturers?

Built-in furniture spotlights are probably best suited for this. Specifically, those that can be installed in shelves. They usually have a profile of only about 1.9 to 2.5 cm (0.75 to 1 inch). The transformer is separate.
