Hello,
I have a question about the required distance to the property boundary.
As far as I know, if you want to build a house measuring 10 x 10 meters (33 x 33 feet), the plot must be at least 16 x 16 meters (52 x 52 feet) to maintain a 3-meter (10-foot) setback. Is this correct and absolute? Or is it possible, for example, to build closer to the street frontage, or if the house borders a forested area on one side, to build closer to the forest side?
Best regards

Setback distances are specified in the respective national building codes and depend, among other factors, on the building height. Building lines are sometimes defined in the local development plans for the specific building area, so you should inquire with the local authority.
