does anyone have experience with how to remove the short connector between the chair and the base on the Tirup swivel chair?
The base is unscrewed with the 4 bolts (obviously!), but how do I get this part out of the chair? During assembly, it is simply plugged in.
With this small part attached, unfortunately, the chair does not fit through my room door.

IKEA-Experte13 Jul 2011 15:52I don’t have the armchair, but if it was just attached by plugging it in, you should be able to remove it again. The biggest challenge will be holding the armchair securely because of its shape. I wouldn’t unscrew the base plate for that.
