mika_112023 May 2010 20:54Hello!
I signed up here specifically because I have a problem.
I received some cabinets as a gift that have glass doors. However, there is an ugly 1970s fabric sandwiched between the wooden panel and the glass panel that I want to remove.
There are small gray clips with arrows holding everything in the frame. They can be moved with a lot of effort (especially since the fabric always gets caught and gathers there). But I have no idea how to remove these gray pieces, as I don’t have any instructions. I’ve tried everything, using force and different tools to get them out. I also tried just ripping out the fabric, but it doesn’t come out completely. Now the wooden panel is already damaged because of the gray clips (black paint has chipped off because I forced the clips around). I urgently need help. I’m quite desperate...
(I read somewhere that it’s possible somehow with a screwdriver, but I have no idea how exactly...)
Thanks in advance!
