Earlier, I was just walking through a room when I suddenly heard a loud bang or crack when I stepped down. I can’t completely rule out that the noise came from outside, but it was so loud that I find that hard to believe. The sound was roughly from the middle of the room. The floor is tiled. The house was built in 2014. What could it have been? Should I be concerned?

If not, it probably wasn't the ground.
