Hello everyone,

As mentioned in the title, I have some imperfections such as dents and waves in the concrete slab of my new build. As a layperson, I’m wondering if this is still within an acceptable range and will be evened out later by the screed or other layers, or if I should raise concerns about these spots. The second and third photos show the same area from different angles.

I would really appreciate the opinion of experienced eyes here! What do you think?

Many thanks in advance for your feedback!

That looks terrible.
Disclaimer: I’m not an expert, but DIN 18202 should cover this. 15mm (0.6 inches) deviation over 2.5m (8.2 feet), max. 30mm (1.2 inches) over 15m (49.2 feet).
Better to check the table yourself. The pictures show what looks like much greater unevenness. Is the required concrete cover still ensured there at all?

Is it not only the waves that are problematic, but also the sand? Did it rain during the concrete pouring? And was the cement washed out?

That is sand or soil/dirt, yes. When the slab was poured, the weather was sunny. It only rained a few days later. I would classify this simply as normal construction site dirt.

That looks like wrinkles in a tarp. Are you sure you are directly on the concrete slab? Or was it covered, causing wrinkles to form in the concrete?

Is it already paid for? The windows are already installed… Have you swept yet? I mean, can you tell from the photos if they look “clean”?
