Hello,

how much does it cost to cut a door opening through a load-bearing wall, including the materials for a door, approximately the range of material costs and labor effort?

I would buy the door second-hand.

(Or is it even possible to create the door opening yourself?)

Yes, unfortunately the water pipes and connections are very close by, but you only find that out once you start chiseling into the structure, right? I think some new work will be necessary there as well...
