Hello dear community,

I requested a quote for the following work:

1. Filling with lean concrete (under screed), 4 cm (1.6 inches) thickness, price per m² (square meter) = 38.5 EUR net, total area 73.7 m² (square meters)
2. Sealing with bitumen using a torch-on method, price per m² 28.5 EUR net, total area approx. 88 m² (square meters)

Are these prices realistic, or are they exaggerated? My gut feeling is that they are about 100% above average...

The construction site is in Brandenburg near Berlin.

Thanks for your feedback!

Hello tamtamtam,

what exactly does "Unterbeton" refer to? Is it a "blinding layer"?
For less than 3 m³ (approximately 3.9 yd³), a price of 2,800 euros seems quite high.
Calculate it yourself: 1 m³ (1.3 yd³) of concrete costs less than 100 euros. Torch-on waterproofing membranes are also not that expensive, and the application typically takes only 2 to 3 hours. Paying 2,500 euros for this is, to put it mildly, highway robbery.

Yes, it is very expensive, but with such a small amount of concrete, you can't expect the best prices. Overall, this is a tiny job that nobody wants. It's better to assign it to tradespeople who are already on site.
