renepurHello everyone,
I’m looking for a gas cooktop with 1 or 2 burners and came across the MÖJLIG domino gas cooktop with 2 burners here...
According to the description, it is delivered for natural gas but can be converted to LPG (liquefied petroleum gas)... The description also mentions that the necessary nozzles are not included and that you should check the service section...
I couldn’t find anything there...
Can you tell me how much the nozzles cost and where I can get them?
At a home goods store? By special order or in stock?
I would appreciate any help.
Best regards,
René

Have you ever had a gas stove in your kitchen? I was also considering it, but unfortunately, I can’t add a ventilation grille to my door.
Ventilation is important! The kitchen door needs a ventilation grille at the bottom. You might be familiar with this from older bathroom doors. In the past, bathrooms often had a gas water heater, usually above the bathtub, and to ensure fresh air supply, these doors had ventilation grilles.
There is a service number listed in the installation manual—maybe try calling there, or contact the customer service directly at your Ikea.
Best regards

Ventilation grille is a good keyword; you definitely need a plumber or gas technician for the conversion. What does the landlord say about the gas cylinder? As far as I know, it requires a permit, keyword building insurance.

Hello,
I don’t understand the concern about the supposed dangers of handling liquefied petroleum gas. Half of Europe cooks with bottled LPG, which is affordable and also makes you independent from the public electricity and gas networks.
Have you gained any experience with the MÖJLIG gas cooktop yet? I have a somewhat older model and would like to switch to the MÖJLIG.
Regards,
Maxl
