Hello dear community, we are building with Town & Country and noticed something during our last visit to the construction site. In some rooms, the building blocks were glued together with construction foam. Is this a common practice? It was always two blocks per room,

Unfinished interior wall corner; raw masonry, white PU foam sealing the ceiling joint.

The stone was probably installed afterwards. Using foam makes it much easier to secure firmly than mortar.

If plaster is applied afterward, no one will notice it anymore.
Using construction foam is common practice.

The question is rather why it was installed later, what was the reason?

Kind regards, Patrick

Was the wall built up beyond the ceiling? That would at least explain why the last brick was inserted that way.

In some areas, the bricks were not laid initially because the props were supporting the precast concrete slab there. According to our site manager, these will be embedded with mesh during the plastering work.
