ᐅ Concrete house, concrete foundation, and concrete columns – costs?

Hello,
I have a few small questions for the experts. Even if it’s probably just a fanciful idea of mine, I’m very interested in several details about it.

I would like to build a house and have been considering a few ideas. Maybe you can help me a little?

I’m thinking of a small plot of land, about 150 - 200 square meters (1,615 - 2,153 square feet), and a small concrete house of around 80 square meters (860 square feet).

My idea is a concrete foundation of about 80 square meters (860 square feet), with four concrete walls built on top, obviously with planned spaces for windows and doors. The ceiling would be a simple, concrete slab extending slightly beyond the walls all around. Inside, concrete columns would support the ceiling. These are the parts I wouldn’t be able to do myself and would have to purchase or contract somewhere.

On the outside, I would apply full external thermal insulation and finish it with a rough render. On the roof, a complete solar panel system. Inside, the walls would be covered with gypsum boards, and the floor would have real wood parquet, plus everything else that belongs in a house.

Do you have any idea what the cost for the concrete foundation plus the 4 walls, the ceiling, and the concrete columns might be?

Yes, okay, that could of course be the case that they are just brick slips. Looking at the pictures now, I can also see that it is not real.

I don’t want to discourage you, but if you want to build the way you imagine, you’d probably have to move to more southern countries. But in Germany?

If I understand correctly, you just want four walls and a roof, and then do the rest yourself, all at a low cost. I’m no architect, but take a look around—how many simple houses like that do you see? You’ll run into a lot of obstacles, from technical regulations to building permits / planning permission, material properties, zoning plans, and who knows what else.

There is a supplier who assembles styrofoam blocks—similar to Lego bricks—and then pours concrete into them. You should be able to purchase a shell from them, but keep funds available for the necessary Hilti tools.

Since it seems your main question is about the cheapest option, have you considered building most of your new house mainly from styrofoam? The floor slab, interior and exterior walls, as well as a flat roof are made of this material, reinforced in areas according to structural requirements. From the outside, you can finish it with either plaster or wood cladding.

Best regards for Easter

In this Lego-style construction method, a pool was built and poured at Bauretter/ZuhauseImGlück/Garten etc/wwi. It was an endless mess...
