Maier GmbH1 Oct 2008 17:41Hello,
This morning my wife did the laundry, and when the machine finished, all our clothes were completely torn. I looked for the cause and eventually found a bra underwire that seems to have ruined the laundry. Is this even possible? And how can we prevent these wires from coming loose from bras in the future?
Thank you.

oh no, that’s really unfortunate. I have a good tip for you: there are small fabric pouches with zippers where you can put bras and then put them in the washing machine. The wire won’t come out of the pouch.

Do it like that...

I always wash these parts by hand because the hangers are so small they can easily slip through a mesh. I even had to have my machine opened once because a hanger got stuck in the gap of the drum. It caused terrible noises. The only real way to prevent this is by washing them by hand.
